A Fundamental Study on the Vocational Rehabilitation for the Individuals with Psychiatric Disorder

Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to the fundamental study on the vocational rehabilitation for the individuals with psychiatric disorder. The psychiatric rehabilitation program is art as well as science. Variables, such as severity, co-morbid psychiatric conditions, personality factors, and general intelligence, can combine to create an almost infinite number of nuances. The goal of this study is as follows. First, psychiatric services are designed to help persons with severe mental illness achieve recovery. Second, psychiatric service are designed to help persons with severe mental illness achieve maximum community integration. Third, psychiatric services are designed to help persons with severe mental illness achieve the highest possible quality of life. Forth, this study is to provide more efficient and improved service to the people with psychiatric disabilities through the rehabilitation program. The suggestions of this study are as follow : First, systematic case management of those with mental disorder should be in place by establishing the proper case management and legal measurements. Second, any related steps should be taken to prevent the handicap of mental disorder from performing a job properly of obtaining a job. Third, psychological approach should be adopted. Fourth, those with mental disorder should be given the option to choose the rehabilitation service course and consultants on their own. Fifth, those programs to improve job stability and human relationship should be introduced and the appropriate measurements for job-training an job-recommendation should be taken.
